Avidex Maintenance Agreement

Morrow County has determined that entering into a maintenance agreement with Avidex is in the best interest of the County. Avidex is the sole source provider capable of delivering the required maintenance and support services due to the following:
The equipment and systems requiring service were originally installed by Avidex.
Avidex maintains proprietary knowledge of the system design, integration, and configuration.
No other vendors are authorized or qualified to perform the necessary maintenance without risking warranty voidance or system performance issues.
Based on these factors, competitive solicitation is not practical or cost-effective, and a sole source procurement is justified.
Protest Period
In accordance with Morrow County procurement policies, notice is hereby given of a seven (7) calendar day protest period beginning on the date of this posting.
