Immunizations

Morrow County Public Health offers immunizations (vaccines) for infants, children, college-bound students, and adults. Immunizations can provide life-long protection from vaccine-preventable diseases.

Vaccine Costs

Children 18 and under will not be denied state-supplied vaccine due to inability to pay.
Morrow County Public Health will bill your health insurance for covered vaccines.

Why are Vaccines Important?

Vaccinating is an effective way to prevent disease or illness. Having a highly immunized population reduces the risk of outbreak and spread of various serious diseases and illnesses.

When are Vaccines Required?

Public School: Immunizations are required by law for children attending all public and private schools, preschools, childcare facilities, and Head Start programs in Oregon. You can learn more about which vaccines are due through the Oregon Health Authority's flyer in English and Spanish

College-Bound: Immunization requirements vary from school to school. Students should check with their intended college for immunizations requirements before they begin classes.

Immigration: Vaccines required for immigration are available. Health insurance will be billed when applicable. Patients without insurance, or whose insurance does not cover the required vaccines, are responsible for the cost of the vaccines and any applicable administration fees at the time of service.

International Travel: If you are traveling out of the country, we will refer you to
