Lexington Airport (9S9) - RUNWAY CLOSURE NOTICE
LEXINGTON AIRPORT (9S9) – RUNWAY CLOSURE NOTICE
Please be advised that Runway 08 26 at Lexington Airport (9S9) will be CLOSED to aircraft operations beginning:
- Monday, September 28, 2026 at 7:00 AM
through
- Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 7:00 AM
This closure is necessary to accommodate work associated with the PAPI Reconstruction Project.
During the closure, temporary yellow runway closure “X” markings will be placed at both ends of the runway to clearly indicate that the runway is unavailable for takeoffs and landings.
Pilots are encouraged to check current NOTAMs prior to flight for the most up-to-date airport information.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation while these important improvements are completed at Lexington Airport.
