Notice of Budget Committee Vacancy - Position 1
Morrow County is currently accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the County Budget
Committee (Position 1).
The Budget Committee is composed of the Morrow County Board of Commissioners and an equal
number of citizen members appointed by the Board. Citizen members serve three-year terms and
play a vital role in the County’s budget process.
The committee is responsible for reviewing the proposed budget submitted by the Budget Officer
and may revise it if a majority of the committee deems changes necessary. The committee also
holds public meetings to hear and consider testimony from residents regarding the County’s
budget.
This vacancy is for a term ending June 30, 2028. Applicants must be registered
voters and residents of Morrow County, Oregon.
