Community Assistance Grant Program
In an effort to improve transparency and access to County funding for non-profit and community organizations, the Board of Commissioners created the Community Assistance Grant Program. The program establishes a certain amount of discretionary funds to go to assist funding for organizations, projects, and events that are vital to the communities in our County.
Organizations are encouraged to apply for the grants which will be evaluated by a five-member committee and scored on a preset metric. The committee will prioritize the projects and make a recommendation to the County Administrator and Finance Director who will assign available funds. A final recommendation is then presented to the Board of Commissioners for ratification.
To help facilitate this program, several files have been created to help with grant applications. The first deadline for these applications will be Friday, April 10, 2026 and should be sent in email format to mjensen@morrowcountyor.gov. Awarded funds will be available after July 1, 2026.
For more information, please contact the County Administrator.
