NOTICE: INVOICE SCAMS
Local businesses and residents have reported receiving suspicious invoices from Morrow County departments. Unfortunately, some of the details in these invoices are public record and may seem legitimate, but there are a couple of red flags to watch out for.
- ALL emails from Morrow County staff will come from our domain, "morrowcountyor.gov". DO NOT trust any other email source. If you receive an email claiming to be from Morrow County, it will not end it .com, .net, .org, or anything other than .gov.
- We will NOT ask you to wire money.
Please, if you receive an invoice from a department in Morrow County, give us a call to verify if it's real.
