CLASSIFICATION COMMITTEE MEETING
The Morrow County Forestland Classification Committee has called a meeting at the following time and location:
TIME: 10 A.M. May 18, 2026
PLACE: 110 N Court St. Heppner, OR 97836
Purpose of the meeting is to convene the Morrow County Forestland Classification Committee and begin the review of lands to be classified as forestland in Morrow County.
Accommodations for people with disabilities, and special materials, services, or assistance can be arranged by calling ODF Pendleton Unit in advance of the meeting at 541-276-3491.
The Forestland Classification Committee is a county advisory committee consisting of six citizens appointed by the county, State Forester, State Fire Marshal, and Oregon State University Extension Service Director. Responsibilities include assessing all lands within a county within an ODF protection district and assigning land classifications as directed in Chapter 629 of Oregon’s Administrative Rules.
